I’m Hannah, founder and CEO of Hybr, a rental platform tailor-made for students and graduates that offers landlords and operators a platform to manage their marketing channels, vetted enquiries, viewings and offers in one place.
What do you like most about your job?
Speaking to our users about what we can do to improve renting, and supporting first-time renters throughout their rental journey, matching them to relevant properties, and building a transparent, and supportive platform that offers everything they need as a renter in one place.
Best work trip/Worst work trip?
Best work trip was going to Cyprus for a student accommodation conference, worst work trip was trying to go to a day of meetings in Bristol but trains getting cancelled!
If you could learn a language instantly, which would you pick and why?
Spanish as it’s the second most spoken language in the world, and I’ve always wanted to live in Spain for a period of my life.
What makes you get up in the morning?
Growing Hybr and transforming how young people rent.
Champion/cheerleader which we should all follow and why?
Follow my brother and sister-in-law’s businesses – Kapu and African Originals.

ICEF because it has a unique focus on the international student market, and is not afraid to tackle the issues around availability and affordability of accommodation
Worst conference food/beverage experience
Sandwiches with no labels on them – no one knew what they were eating!

Describe a project or initiative you’re currently working on that excites you.
We’re launching our pre-sale tenant management tool. The Hybr Dashboard consolidates enquiries across 25 and student marketing channels, giving landlords and operators mass marketing exposure through one integration, and allowing them to manage vetted groups, group viewings, and offers in one place, with smart recommendations to accelerate occupancy rates.
